Born in the Waco, Texas Tom Chase first love was not M.C.ing but basketball. In the yeaof 1991 at the ripe age of 11 he and his mom picked up and headed north to Bedford Stuyvesant

Brooklyn where he was exposed to the raw  Hip Hop culture. It wouldn’t be long until he picked up a pen and begin to hone his skill. By the time Chase turned 17 he and his family had moved to Rahway, New Jersey where he continue to write songs and would finally come into his own and develop as an all around artist. As time passed Tom Chase learned how to play two instruments (guitar and drums) and go on to perform at numerous open mics and get into hundreds of ciphers , impressing everyone that would his work. With a machine like work habit, Chase would get the chance to write for rock band such as FUSE, Chiba-Ken and The Voiceless etc. also go on to perform with such greats as Mos Def, Black Sheep, Tame One ,and the Okayplayer collective etc. Making numerous appearences on WSOU Seton Hall Radio  and also doing songs with the likes of Vast Aire , Joe Budden and Cymarshall Law etc. Tomchase has developed into one of the premiere Jersey M.C’s becoming one third of a three man group (St. Joe Louis) accumilating a small but loyal fan base .
